A new horizon in education

New innovations are breaking down more barriers to learning. Whether it’s through the application of virtual reality or the introduction of more real-world and personalised curricula, the experience for learners of all ages is starting to change and expand for the better.

In the United States, students are flying their own experiments into outer space to investigate the effects of zero gravity on living and non-living things, building scientific inquiry and thinking in the process.

Technology is a tool that can open up pathways for millions, lifting constraints on what the typical physical classroom can do. The power of technology lies in its ability to build bridges to the future, and it is up to us to give our students the future of education that they deserve. 
 
Education in the Spotlight
The same spirit of innovation that made it possible to track storms has helped an American community prepare for online learning and a return to classrooms.
The role that education could play in climate action is not well understood or even examined. Here are some of the reasons a better-educated generation is important to drive positive changes.
For the past century, the New School produced iconoclastic thinkers. Now it is finding that idealism is very expensive.
